In the “I’ve Been Framed!!” workshop, Dennis Kiel, Director of the Dishman Art Museum at Lamar University, will provide you with the things you need to know—the do’s and don’ts—about putting your paintings, prints, drawings, photographs, and sculpture, etc. in the best light for juried art competitions, gallery and art museum exhibitions, not to mention your own home or apartment.
Dennis Kiel has over 30 years of curatorial experience. He joined the Dishman Art Museum as Director in 2017 after spending seven years as Chief Curator at The Light Factory Contemporary Museum of Photography and Film, Charlotte, North Carolina.
