The gift of your membership enables the Beaumont Art League to continue our tradition of local and national art exhibitions, art education, children’s art programming, and support for our local artist community.
After 70 years of operation, the BAL is the oldest non-profit, volunteer art organization in Southeast Texas, and we are still going strong with dynamic exhibitions of modern and classical visual art genres, competitive juried shows, and exciting workshops and events every month.
We receive the majority of our funding directly from our members through membership dues and other donations, and we do need your help! Many hands make a light load. All officers and members of our board serve purely on a volunteer basis, so every donation goes directly to our daily operations and projects.

Our Life Membership is a great way to support the long-term sustainment of the Beaumont Art League. Life members are permanent members, and are not required to pay any dues in the future.
These dues are invested in a special fund designed to sustain the BAL, the Frank Gerrietts Life Membership Account (so named by the members in 2012 in recognition of Frank Gerrietts’ instrumental role in the establishment of this fund). Monies in this account not mixed with general operations funds, and may only be used by an unanimous vote of the board for emergencies, or once every five years for other purposes, again only by a unanimous vote.
